A dramedy about Jessie Stiles, a woman whose greatest passion is baseball and her lifelong dream of making it to the “show” as a major league baseball umpire.  In spite of many barriers, Jessie never loses sight of her dream. The script follows Jessie’s 18-year journey up the ranks in the minor league -- as well as the trials, tribulations, and laugh-out-loud moments of her personal life. Jessie's story is interspersed with newsreel and interview footage with real baseball players, managers, umpires, executives and fans.
